I started doing web comics privately between my friends in junior high with a mouse in bitmap paint. This died quickly. I abandoned the idea of comics until I was in my first year in college. My buddy Andrew had been doing comics for a year bi-monthly, and they were being published in the Camosun school paper Nexus. I started doing the same once I was given a tablet, and discovered Corel Painter. I have been published consistently since Fall 2007. After my first issue, I was picked up by the Canadian University Press Wire, and published all throughout Canadian campuses from coast to coast.

I owe the creativity of the name to my friend Ryan, who has recently got on a plane and left without much notice. I don't know where he went or when he gets back.
